The Alice Springs Beanie Festival, one of Australia's unique Festivals, will be held in the Red Centre in June. Five hundred beanie makers (from around the globe) shall create some of the world's best headgear and 7300 beanies are expected to descend on the Araluen Arts Centre for four days of exhibitions, Indigenous workshops, textile classes, live music, homemade tucker and a whole lot of fun, joy, warmth and colour.

The Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair, affectionately known as DAAF, is the only national event of its kind and has secured a reputation as one of the country’s most significant internationally recognised arts events.
A community event first and foremost the 2 day event program had a focus on inter generational learning by young Tiwi people, from Tiwi Elders of Tiwi culture through workshops, and performances from weaving, carving and painting to traditional dancing, and singing, as well as bush food demonstrations and cooking.
